Just a few years ago, CoreRx, a pharmaceutical developer and manufacturer based in Clearwater, Florida, had an HR “strategy” that consisted of random employees within the organization trying to reactively solve the constant HR-related challenges.
Then, in 2017, Kevin Rierson, now executive director of HR at CoreRx, joined the company. He made it his mission to focus on employee relations and building out the HR program. After a bump in the road with another professional employer organization (PEO), he called Insperity and the rest is history.
Since January 2022, Insperity and Rierson have worked together to build a robust people strategy from the ground up. Rierson says the biggest plus is the Insperity Premier™ platform, a “one-stop shop” for employees to see their pay, 401(k) details, performance management and more. But ultimately, CoreRx’s decision hinged on not only the caliber of the technology and the sure-to-be-welcome relief from a heavy load related to operational HR, but much more. The shift to Insperity also arose from Rierson’s conclusion that he wanted and needed a PEO capable of providing a much higher level of care, one addressing business leaders’ vision.
